Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity where an individual or group provides services for no financial or social gain “to benefit another person, group or organization” (Wikipedia, 2019).
As hosts of the Annual Haitian Community Thanksgiving Brunch, we look to effect positive change throughout the community by providing a forum for togetherness and joy during our event.
Volunteers are at the heart of our event as we alone cannot provide our guests with the necessary service and spiritual environment.
Although we cannot guarantee that you will be selected after signing up, we welcome passionate and dedicated individuals and corporate volunteering programs that are in the same spirit and committed to our cause, and who can help when and where we need them.
